Possibly the greatest treasure of our region are its small Romanesque churches. These constructions are the most important cultural heritage in Cerdanya and the Pyrenees. During the last years they have undergone restoration and 11 tourist routes have been created for us to not miss any of them, since there are more than 50!
Most of them have been preserved until today because they have continued to offer the very original service they were created for. Besides, after the 12th century the demography of the area did not raise, neither the prosperity of small villages and parishes, which did not allow them to update their original Romanesque building.
Walking from Cal Pesolet you can arrive to the small St. Serni de Coborriu, go on until St. Marcel de Bor and St. Julià de Pedra, go down into Sta. Maria de Talló and, going up by the village of Pi, pass through the church of Sta. Eulàlia. It is a beautiful half-a-day circular excursion (download this route and watch its profile here).
